Susan Bonnicksen

Susan has lived most of her life in Urbandale and was a student in the Urbandale School System, K-12. She received her BA from Iowa State University in Speech/Communications with a teaching certification.

Susan is an Independent Sales Consultant with Superior Printing and Promotions. She is active in the Urbandale Chamber where she is currently Co- Chair of the Urbandale Ambassador group. She also serves on many committees through the Chamber including: Sample Urbandale, The Swingin' Wing Ding Golf Tournament, Educators' Reception, All That Jazz, Membership Services and the Annual Dinner. In 2005 she was named Ambassador of the Year and in 2006 as Volunteer of the Year by the Urbandale Chamber. She is an active member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Des Moines Junior Women's Club serving as its' 2010-2011 President and is a graduate of the 2007-2008 Leadership Urbandale class.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing and attending Iowa State Football and Men's Basketball games with her husband, Monte.
