Craig Light is Craig Light Investments & Insurance. He confidentially assists, consults and guides any and all individuals and businesses with their investment strategies and retirement plans specifically designed and implemented to best serve their current needs and unique situation while also taking into consideration the realm of their longer term goals and investment time horizon.
Craig began his Financial Advisor career in 1999 with Piper Jaffray headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In addition, Craig volunteers his time serving as the 2009 Urbandale Chamber of Commerce President, serving as an Ambassador and serving on the Membership Services and Junior Leaders Committees. Craig has been selected as the 2003 Urbandale Chamber "Volunteer of the Year" and the 2004, 2006 and 2007 "Ambassador of the Year". Craig is a graduate of the "Leadership Urbandale" class of 2007-2008 and has served as the 2005 President of the Urbandale Caring Corps promoting "neighbors serving neighbors". In addition, he has in the past served as an Ambassador for the Johnston Chamber of Commerce. Craig has an Associate of the Arts degree from Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa, a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree from Iowa State University, and a Master's of Business Administration degree from Drake University.
Craig and his wife, Carol, are both graduates of Urbandale High School and still currently reside in Urbandale. Craig was a member of the 1975 Urbandale High School Class 3A State Championship Football Team, was the recipient of the 1978-79 "Mike Algoe Award" as Iowa Central Community College's outstanding male student-athlete plus was a two-year starting football player, a squad captain, and member of the 1978 National Junior College Football Championship team.
