UCAN Project Development Meeting
Join us as we move together towards making Urbandale the #1 ranked mid-size community in the country by 2017! Yes, you can help shape our great community! Over the past few months, the Urbandale Community Action Network (UCAN) has hosted a series of community conversations to gather resident input on the needs of our community. Five main themes emerged from these conversations: strengthening neighborhoods, human services, activities/events, infrastructure and communications. UCAN Team members will share the suggestions gathered thus far with all residents during two follow-up sessions scheduled for July 29 and August 9. Participants will be given the opportunity to indicate their interest in one or two themes and then attend a work session to begin prioritizing the ideas under each theme. Please plan to attend one of the two following sessions: July 29 Urbandale Public Library 6:30-7:30 PM August 9 Urbandale High School Media Center 6:30 -- 7:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.ucan2017.com. Find us on Facebook and Twitter "UCAN: A catalyst for positive community action and spirit in Urbandale!"
